Although I only got to meet with Professor Stephens once during this rotation, I can truly say that I gained a lot from that one visit. Because my wedding was in the middle of this rotation, I was unable to meet with Prof. Stephens in middle of the rotation. During the one site visit, I presented two H&Ps, went through 10 pharm cards, and presented an article. After presenting my H&Ps, Prof Stephens provided me with constructive criticism; there were certain aspects missing from my H&Ps and they needed improvement in organization. She took the time to discuss with me the strengths in my H&Ps and the improvements I need to make. The grade I got on the first two H&Ps were lower than I was used to getting, which was just the motivation I needed. After my site visit, I needed to provide Prof. Stephens with one more H&P. Using her feedback from the first two, there was a significant improvement in the last one. The pointers she gave me are ones I will continue using as I make my way through the next few rotations.
